How often have you said to your self “right, as of Monday I’m going to start doing ‘x’ or stop doing ‘y’”? How often did you try and start something only to last a couple of days before you slipped back into your old ways? Often this is because the habit it too vague, unrealistic or you don’t see changes quickly enough.

Welcome to your blog post. Use this space to connect with your readers and potential customers in a way that’s current and interesting. Think of it as an ongoing conversation where you can share updates about business, trends, news, and more.
“…tiny changes make a big difference.”
We often set ourselves a big goal and focus only on that goal. By focusing on the small habits instead of the big goal, we are more likely to become the person we want to be. By changing our habits, we begin to change our identity - you get what you repeat. For example, in week one you go to the gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. By Thursday you won’t be the healthy person that you want to become. However, if you keep going to the gym over time, you will become the fit and healthy person that you want to be.
It can be easy to slip back into old ways if you don’t see the results quickly. However tiny changes make a big difference. One bad meal won’t have a big impact on the scales. It’s only when we repeat that bad habit that the problems start to happen. It’s the small daily choices that shape who we become – our habits define who we are.
Here's how I create new habits and break bad ones:
Don’t try to change everything overnight. Focus on one step at a time.
Decide who it is that you want to become, rather than the outcome you want to achieve. For example –"I want to become a runner, a non-smoker or a healthy person".
Choose the habit that you want to start and make a plan for when and where you will do the habit. For example, from Monday, I will stretch every day for 5 minutes after I have made my morning coffee.
Stack the new habit on top of a current habit that you already do. So – if you make a coffee every morning, add the new habit (stretching) to the current habit (making coffee).
Remember, “success is the product of daily habits, not once in a lifetime transformations…..A very small shift in direction, can lead to a very meaningful change in destination”. (J.Clear)."
